i had put a listing on eBay, which was giving the kitkash codes published here for free by including all the codes in the description.
I put do not bid on this item, but it has finished now with 2 bids, 1p and 6p. The one who bidded 6p is a new and he has marked his winning item as paid, but i havent received it, not that i really care about 6p, but now that people had put in a bid i have to pay the listing fee. The one who put a bid in for 1p sed that he wud bid so i can giv him feedback and he can give me feedback. I didnt want to get a cheap feedback cos it is like i am paying for a positive feedback.
So now i dont know whether to give a feedback to the winning bidder. i was looking into second chance offer, but does this mean the one who bid 1p gets it or dus it get relisted? if i just give the winner feedback what should i write and what should i tell him to write on my feedback?

I'm confused. Why did you list KitKash codes?2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040

Firstly offering info that is freely available from this site will win you no friends, so prepare for the backlash.
Secondly your winning bidder at 6p now has the right to leave you feedback, and it may well be a scambuster who bid just to cost you money and to leave neg feedback. You have lost your listing fees, plus you will still have to pay a very small FVF, Even if the auction had ended without a bidder you would still have lost your listing fee as you pay that regardless of a sale or not.
You can go to a second chance offer for the bidder who bid 1p, and that gives you both the right to leave feedback. However if ebay consider the lsiting was for feedback only they can put a formal warning on your account, so bear that in mind if you are tempted to do this again.

sorry if i confused you, but i wasnt selling them.....i noticed that they were being sold and didnt like people making money from things that are free, so i put up a listing titled 'kitkash codes are free anyways***dont bid for them**'.....the description was showing all the free codes that people were selling, so to get the codes no one needed to bid.
this is my listing below (which has obviously ended with 2 bidders who were NOT supposed to bid)....
my listing
i dont like being thought of as one who rips people off.
right, just cut it short now, should i give him a feedback or wait till he gives me feedback before i do anything? or say tell eBay it was an unpaid item? However if ebay consider the lsiting was for feedback only they can put a formal warning on your account, so bear that in mind if you are tempted to do this again.
i dont know what you are saying by tempted to do this again.....i thought i was doing it for community spirit not for makling money like people are.0 -
not quite sure why you wanted to list these codes? You were only going to incure fees along the way. In future i wouldnt bother :S
anyway the usual A+++++++++ feedback should suficeCome to my garden in South Bucks and i'll find you a wasp...0 -
You do not have feedback to worry about yourself - you have nothing to lose by the buyer leaving you bad feedback! You can set up a new account. The buyer has had the information ! Leave feedback - "I do not want payment-listing states do not bid"
I can see you were trying to be noble but all it has done is cost you money!I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes0 -
Placing an auction that states 'do not bid' is against ebay regulations and actually breaks a number of ebay terms and conditions.
This is just one of them:
http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/compilation.html
where it says:
Not offer information on how to either purchase specific items or receive them for free, outside the eBay online marketplace.
Personally I would just put this one down to experience and move on. You've incurred fees, but you did that as soon as you placed the listing.
