Network Connections pop-up

Whilst using the web I keep getting 'Network Connections' window pop-up with the following:

"You (or a program) have requested information from gfx1.hotmail.com. Which connection do you want to use?"

It then lists my internet connections. The web page I am trying to access does not load until I have cancelled this window, so it's not as if I can just ignore it so it's getting a tad grating now.

Is this spyware etc.? Anyone know how to stop it?

Try installing the free firewall Zonealarm which can be downloaded from here

Once Zonealarm is up and running it will detect when something is trying to access the Internet and it will give you the option to deny or allow it. Select deny. Hopefully this will cure the problem. Even if it doesn't having a firewall is a sensible precaution. So it's worth having.
