Remember my 15 yr old testosterone fuelled son? Well he's 19 now and is very likely going to Dubai to work for a few months. I think it will do him the world of good to get out of our sleepy little town and experience working away.....but I feel sick at the thought. :( It doesn't seem that long since he was playing truant…

I remember Piper Alpha well as it happens.

My ex husband is an offshore worker and I know the perils well enough. He managed to fall off a rig once. Mind you he was an idiot at the best of times so it wasn't surprising really. :rolleyes:
