First Plus PPI Claiming - time limits?

Options
Hello,

Sorry but a bit of history first!

Took out first loan 2003 - re-consolidated in 2005 - sold house and paid off loan in August 2007

Wrote to worst plus in September telling them that we had been mis-sold the PPI got the standard letter back that they did not agree. Then sent repeated e-mails in November/December and never received an acknowlegement or answser. Can I start up the letter writting again or have I lost my chance?

Is there any kind of time limit on reclaiming PPI on Loans?

Thanks for any advice

If you are claiming mis-selling you are time barred if your loan was taken out prior to FSA regulation of General Insurance. Or the lenders and the FOS will claim you are. If you seek to pursue other issues besides mis-selling, in some cases there can be no time bars.
I am a former Broker, former IFA and former compliance officer, for my sins.

However, I have since seen the light.
