Do I just stop paying??

Ok i'm in rent accomodation.. I have a loan of £7,000 which I stopped paying.. payments were £110 with Nationwide it went to a debt collector and I now pay £20 a month.. also have 2 credit cards.. one is £56 (minimum payment) the other is £46 a month.. along with store cards! All cards were ripped up months ago.. After paying all minimum payments I have about £40 to myself a month with a small child.. my partner doesn't know the half of it!

I'm thinking i'm going to have to stop paying one of the credit cards and concentrate on the other as I seem to be getting nowhere..

I just wondered if anyone is in the same situation??
