Been to the Caribbean 3 times in early June and had great weather each time. The weather is really hot in June reaching about 98 so even if you do have the odd shower and it is the odd shower it is welcome relief. Plus they usually only happen afternoon and last between 5 & 20 mins.0

I'd recommend Mexico. We've been twice and our last visit was September 2007. It was meant to be hurricane season, but we only had one really bad rainy day. The others had the occassional ten minute shower, then it was gorgeous again. A fabulous resort is Playa Del Carmen. It's about an hour from Cancun and there is loads to do there. You can visit Chichen Itza, Tulum etc and there are also loads of bars/shops in town. The hotels are amazing and pretty much self-contained, so you may need to drag yourself away!
Hope this helps.0
