I am fitting some gripper rods to a room at the weekend and i am just wondering what kind of nails i need to nail them to the floorboards?
Also, can anyone recommend the length of the right nails to use?
Thanks in advance

Does it not come with nails in it? All the ones I've come across before have.0

no it doesnt seems too, unless the nails are in a seperate bag within the packaging. There is def no nails already in the rods themselves.
I have read elsewhere that nails usually come with them but cant see them in mine and i just want to make sure i get the right ones!

1" round head nails will be fine.0 -
They normally come with nails. You usually get two types. Wood floor or concrete floor gripper rods; the nails on them differ.

thanks guys!
I actually bought them from tradepriced, but maybe they have supplied me with concrete ones because i am 99% certain there is no nails in them!
I think i will phone them now to check which ones they have sent me0 -
I have just checked my order on the email they sent me and i ordered Gripperrods Medium Pin Gripper, which state on their website that:
"Gripperrods in the UK.Pre-pinned for use on wooden sub floors."
So maybe i am just being completely blind! I am going to check tonight, but i guess it is not a hassle to buy some 1" round nails!0
