To switch or not to switch NOW?!

Hello,

Does anyone have any thoughts on whether to switch energy suppliers now (we need to go from seperate accounts to Duel Fuel). British Gas websaver 1 is coming up as the cheapest, but I understand the companies may be lowering prices at some point in January.

Does anyone know when this rate change may be? I don't want to switch now and then find British Gas are the most expensive!!!

Any advice greatly appreciated!

I understand that British Gas are looking to cut prices in spring, but the pricing on Web Saver is variable, so it should come down with the price drop. It's just that you won't be able to switch to another company until later if you find that other companies offer cheaper deals.

It's probably better to go to their website and find out for yourself. Don't bother calling them, though; their call centre staff are not awfully helpful.
