Hope someone can help me as this problem is driving me mad. My address bar keeps no record of websites I have visited. It always has done but now for some reason it doesn't so I have to type the full address everytime I visit a website.
Another thing that I have noticed as well is when I log into this site and you put in your username and password I tick the remember me box but it doesn't remember the next time I visit the site, the same has also happened with my internet banking where I have to keep entering my customer id number evertime I log in even though I have ticked the remember me box.

Do you use Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox?
If it's Firefox, go into
Tools > Options > Privacy
Check 'Remember what I enter in forms and the search bar'
This should do it.I'll have some cheese please, bob.0 -

I don't know what you mean by tick use autocomplete box. There is no option for ticking "Use Auto Complete Box"
In the auto complete settings window there are 3 options which can be ticked to use auto complete for. These are:
Web Addresses (which is ticked)
Forms (which is unticked)
User names and password forms (which is unticked)0 -
if you're on IE7

Thanks but I have tried this. It was set at 20 days and I changed it to 31 but still no joy.0 -
sounds like your cookies could be crumbled then.. try deleting them and seeing what happens.0
