How about when you put the last post on each subject it becomes a link to the actual post?
Its such a pain having to scroll through all the other posts to find the one just posted.The word today could be the link.

Click on the last page of topics, then use the 'End' key.

Just bear in mind that there might be other unread posts that you will miss using this method or the one you suggest.

I know this is done by default by some other forum software, and that Martin is planning an upgrade soon to new software, so maybe we should just wait and see if the new software does this...
