The fun exciting bit is finding what you can do for free, feeling back in control again. The credit crunch doesn't apply to you if you're having a NSD, when you have found things you enjoy that aren't dependant on having 'free' cash then you feel free of your debt (or at least I do). I don't feel like my day is compromised by a NSD, I have come to enjoy the opportunity to get out of the endless round of eating out at places, you get the picture.Debt £5600 all 0%0

We are spreadsheet geeks and we get a real kick from watching our debts decrease. We still have a long way to go but we are (rightly I think!) proud of how we have turned our situation around. I don't worry about being a tight !!!!! In fact we were just saying earlier today how we haven't bought clothes or shoes for ourselves in the last 2-3 years - we still have wardrobes full and we just don't miss it. Yeah, it is nice to get lovely new things but we get a bigger buzz from saving our pennies and putting it towards our debts. Our biggest extravagance has been an unlimited cinema subscription but it has given us back a social life and we are more than getting our moneys worth.
Great post - its nice to celebrate our success!!Cheap and cheerful. Preferably free. :T LBM - more a gradual rude awakening.
DFD where the light is at the end of this very long tunnel - there, see it? Its getting brighter!!
