Thanks for the links thefenman.
Alot of rewriters say something about needing USB 2.0
How will I know if I have USB 2.0? If I don't, is their an adaptor I can use by connecting it to whatever USB I have at the moment? I assume 1.1?0 -

I am not sure how you check, I'll have a think about that, but if your computer is reasonably recent and running Windows XP or Vista you should be OK. One definite way of finding out is to plug in a USB2 device and if you are still USB1, you'll get a pop-up saying "This device could run faster".
You can't adapt the early USB to USB2, you need to have the right drivers.0 -
