tv sound keeps going up and down

hi all,
bit of an odd one. we have a samsung 52 inch lcd tv. it's worked fine for a few months but all of a sudden, your watching a program and the sound turns itself down, then later up again
any ideas??? faulty tv, interference from other electrical stuff, or are we haunted??????

Sounds like a faulty tv to me. Is it just freeview or is it watching dvds etc too?
Have you changed/moved anything recently which may be causing it? Are ALL the cables properly inserted?:idea:0
