Car Insurance Help

I am looking for car insurance as mine expires 3/2/09.
I have 2 years NCB but the question I have is regarding previous claims....
I had an accident July 2005 where the other party was fully responsible, but this was a claim under my mum's insurance.
Do I have to declare the above?
I declared it on last insurance quote but someone mentioned I didn't have to as a claim under someone else's name.
Thanks

If the question is have you been involved in any accidents then you will have to answer yes. It doesn't matter under who the policyholder is you still have to declare it.0
