VHS to DVD..........

Hi - I've recently been transferring some old VHS videos to DVD through a VHS / DVD Recorder but want to know the best way to get the individual tracks (the videos being the Old Grey Whistle Test and The Tube from donkeys ago!) onto my PC?
When I explore the files on the CD, they are VOB files which I know nothing about.
Any suggestions?!

Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!

You can play those VOB files directly using this: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
You might want to investigate turning them in DivX .avi files in order to store them0 -
try copying one of the .VOBs to your hard disk and renaming it to .MPG..IIRC, that works quite nicely..:)0
