You usually get a discount if you get gas and elec from same supplier. Sometimes it's cheaper to get from two suppliers - you need to check different options. Do you know how many kwh you use a year and have you tried putting these figures into a comparison site?

You really need annual kwh for an accurate comparison - do you have a year's statements/bills? If not, your supplier will tell you if you ask.

If you are a very high user of one or both fuels the savings of a lower Tier 2 price can be greater than the dual fuel discounts.

(And it doesn't matter if your monthly instalment is £13 or £130 - what matters is how many kWhs you are using.)

But if you are using £130 of electricity per month Equipower is not the tariff for you! And Click 6 is no longer available.

But as Magenta says, you have to track down your usage, or take a decent guess, and hop over to a comparison calculator.
