Competitions Discussion Thread Part 9

Hello All :hello:

Just a quick question... When using the 'Thread Title' search rule it brings up all the competitions ending on the 01/02 then 01/03 etc etc... am I searching wrong or is there a way to search so it orders them all ending 01/02... 02/02.... 03/02... ?


Also wouldn't it be great if when you thanked someone in a post there was a way of knowing you had already thanked them before you open the thread again! (Just a suggestion) :T

Hi Claire - the 'thread title' search is actally sorting the threads alphabetically, so without altering the alphabet, there's no way to order the threads as you want!!

As to the thanks - the comps forum is one tiny little area of this massive board - I doubt any changes will be made just for this one little area! You could always subscribe to the threads you look at, as some people do - that way you will see alittle tick on those you've checked without needing to open the thread

Might be an idea for you to look through the Comping Guide which is stickied at the top of the main board - most questions have been asked and answered before and are covered in there thanks to VG :A

I just wish people would use the Thanks button rather than posting Thanks and bumping old threads up again.

When I first started comping I couldn't understand why he had an appreciation society. Now I can see why and want to join :T He's great! Such a dry wit.
