I find thisreally hilarious how this little innocent thread made for fun for me and others has turned into a suspect of crime,first i was reported and now aparently im a different person.

I dont think its me that needs to grow up here!

Not for the first time am I dumbstruck by the attitudes of some people on here.

For goodness' sake....this is supposed to be fun! Whether £2009 for 2009 runs or not, some of the behaviour on this thread by MSE's who have been here "years and are older" etc etc is actually disgusting.

I don't often feel the need to speak up like this but I'm sat here shaking my head wondering what is going on.

I may not have many posts to my name but that does not make me inferior to any of the "MSE's who have been here years and are older" than me.....same goes for anyone. That whole attitude stinks and reeks of clique!

Respect is earned.....it's not an automatic given right due to age, membeship status or any thing

Whatever happened to festive cheer? Or even everyday decent, polite behaviour?

Can anybody help me please! I think one of the comps I have entered have somehow drilled into my computer, now everytime I open the internet, or attempt to open a site another page opens on top of it (as if it was the page I was opening) normally the page that has opened is a spam competition site so its easy to just think its the one I wanted.

I have absolutley no idea how or why it is happening, can anyone help me to remove what ever it is they have added to my computer to stop this from happening so I can get back to entereing my comps without adding my details to these spam sites accidentally??

This pathetic petty row stops right now! As most of you clearly cannot appear to see is that i started this thread as i missed the 2008 challenge and i noticed that many many people actually wanted a 2009 thread so i thought why not it will be fun!
This thread i made was the same as the 2008 one and different to the I will have this in 2009 thread its completely different which means i have not copied another thread that was already started. One person mentioned that there will not be a 2009 one but that was their choice because they didnt want to do it! Not because they own the board and what they say goes because that isnt the idea of this forum!
I am highly offended by those little groupie going on this thread have come along and toatally ruined it for us who actually wanted to have this group! Ive had you all moaning at me over christmas day and boxing day about how its not a stick (well i dont know how to make a post a sticky) and now im getting accused of being rude when im clearly not a rude person as i started this thread out of good will and it does take time to build this challenge up and i approached everyone in a very kind manner! Until those of you who decided to make sarcastic comments and cause an argument and i will not back down and take it i will stick up for myself!

And then i get judged for my age when age has nothing to do with this thread then people come along and bring up on what job i do! Clearly been reading all my others posts which i find really sad! honestly and im sure others will agree! then accused of being a fake person its just so stupid all this balls down to me starting a thread an innocent and friendly community thread!

So now you have all said your piece and dug me out for starting an innocent thread so this argument stops right now because i have better things to do that argue over the internet. If you dont like my thread dont post in it- simple as! You dont own the board so you cant say who can post what and where. So unless someone who owns this site or is the authortiy to do something about my "awful" thread then so be it.

So please if you have common courtesy just drop this and get allong with what you was doing and drop it all.

Have you run SpyBot? That sorts out most things, and you can "immunise" your PC against known nasties.

Are you using IE or FF? I've recently downloaded the NoScript addon for FF which prevents people from downloadings scripts, such as trojans, onto your computer.

sorry missessex i think you misunderstood.
there is nothing wrong with your challenge at all. its up to you and other people what they want to do with your challenge ( i personally have my own goals next year and that is my perogative as much as yours but we are just following guidelines.
if you wish you can have targets but i believe having your own thread for this wont be pemitted and will be merged within the discussion thread.(which is what people have been trying to say)

why stop at 2009 anyway (to me thats not really an achievement if its only £1 over last years target and quite unoriginal)
