I'm trying to think positive and entering for ones I want but I'd settle for chewing gum right now! I love post and don't seem to be getting any of that either (even bills!!).
Seriously, I know that a bigun could be winging it's way right now! It's just hard with the weather and all....we're all lucky with what we win anyway, it's just I need to feed my addiction! So having a cuppa and some bickies right now while comping!

All I've won since November is a CD and I'm getting really fed up too. I've entered literally thousands to no avail. I'm beginning to wonder if my email address is at the wrong end of the alphabet, or if something is making me less likely to win. Very depressing when lots of other folks seem to be getting stuff *sigh*

LOL! I try not to look at the IWIW board now as although I'm happy others are winning it just depresses me! I guess we all get a chance to win stuff, at the beginning of a new year we all like wins though!

I'm feeling the same way at the moment. I've not had a win since December - which was a fantastic month. I quickly scan through IWIWIW every day to see what people have won but don't do more than that though as it is quite depressing! Everyone has their turn but I don't even get any letters anymore never mind wins through the door! I'm still entering the same amount of comps every day but have got to that stage again of getting fed up of it and thinking about quitting. I have come close to quitting in the past but never actually done it - we'll see what happens in the next couple of weeks. My heart isn't really in it anymore either.

I guess it's like anything we do, you want to see some rewards for our efforts! I don't seem to get WEM's at the moment (or letters) which considering the amount of junk e/mail is amazing!
I do get those annoying ones that say congratulations/the winner in the subject and then say 'sorry you didn't win but congrats to Joe Bloggs from Derby'!! Argghhh! If I didn't win I don't care who did so don't email me!!
I guess my first 2 years comping have spoiled me and I've either been a bad girl or run out of comping fairy dust!

There seems to be a lot of unhappy and fed up peeps out there at the moment.

The wins certainly aren't as frequent as they used to be but then there are a lot more people entering competitions now than 2 years ago, not only from this site but all the other comping sites as well. I'm finding there are more competitions to choose from but more people chasing that win. I'm fortunate in that i've had a pretty good two months but things soon change.

I know its easy to say but i have to remind myself this is just a hobby and not to get toooooooo addicted and have withdrawal symptons when i cant get to the pc. The last time i got a bit fed up i found the best thing to do was take a break from comping for a week or two and then come back refreashed.

Skipping through the IWIW board does help but i get realy annoyed by certain op's who just enter for the sake of entering and not intending to use tickets or prizes for themselves so that dosen't help. Hence why i only skip through.

At the end of the day its a hobby, so enjoy entering, enjoy the banter and be happy for those op's you know who have won recently.

as u need to spend at least a £5 to get those active kids vouchers, (they have a code u enter online) i cant post on main board xx
also get with petrol xx

well remembered! I meant to post this after I went shopping yesterday, but I forgot all about it! Can't decide if it's better to keep entering codes as I get them, or save up and enter a few at once for a better chance of winning :think:

I must admit im pretty new to this site altho have been comping thru mags etc for a few years, But have noticed how addicted i have become already. I have to come on here at least once everyday (its a good job i work from home on the internet really lol) I have to keep reminding myself its a hobby.
Something that REALLLLLY bugs me tho is when u get people entering the kids comps who are adults and have no kids etc, just to sell the prize. I no it may be petty but my kids would love some suprise toys thru the post lol!
My 4 year old daughter keeps asking ' mummy have we won any competitions yet' lol as we always sit and enter the ones from her mags together

:T agree elverman, & got to say it always gives me a warm feeling & cheers me up to see & read the winners posts , usually the first page i read on here before tackling the comps
