Looking at a couple of weeks parking at Gatwick for back end of August and company called Aardvark are coming in at at about 30% cheaper than all the others which is quite a considerable reduction. Its a 'meet & greet' service they offer.
They are apparently part of the Meteor Parking Group.
Anyone used them recently?

No I have not used them, but personally I would only use the BCP onsite car parks where I get to keep the keys, watched a rather horrifying programme last year connected to the real hustle programmes, which showed airport parking companies parking your car in sainsburys or on the side of resiential streets, one car a lovely Jag was even used for a wedding (hidden camera had been placed inside). I normally book going through quidco so earn a bit back that way, holiday extras is the website I use to book the BCP.0

I have used holiday extras too and found them very reasonabale, also use APH, depends who is the cheaper at the time I go.
Plus if you are an AA Member you get a discount as well from quite a few carparks at airports.
I never have had the meet and greet though, but can honestly say we have never had any problems with any of these two car parking places.0 -
Meet and Greet services are those most likely to misuse your car - they have the most opportunity. Where you leave your car at a car park, they really are going to do no more than park it in a remote part of their secure compound and retrieve it just before you are due back.
Whether this particular outfit is legit I've no idea. The cheap price might be enough to put some off.0 -
We just used APH carpark at Gatwick - cost £27 ish for 8 days through the links on here for discounts for breakdown service members - recommended - very straightforward, efficient and buses to/from airport all worked very smoothly, even late at night. Friendly, helpful staff too.0

Hi Carol, wondered where you had gone to'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -
I can confirm that Meteor are a "legit" operation - they run the business parking at Heathrow, amongst other things.
ETA: Are you sure that Aardvaark are part of Meteor? Must admit, never heard of that particular brand. They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0 -
Have used Ace Meet and Greet a couple of times - they are - Ace !0

Below is taken from the Aardvark website - they operate out of Stansted, Gatwick and Heathrow.Aardvarkparking.com use Meteor Parking Ltd, one of the UK’s largest off-street parking companies and a market leading provider of parking services as the sole parking operator
Meteor meet and greet parking are the largest operator of airport meet and greet parking services in the country with fully owned and operated facilities at Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester, Stansted and Birmingham. More people meet and greet with Meteor meet and greet than any other company.
The meet and greet division was created from two highly respected and well established meet and greet parking companies: PAS Ltd and CPS. Each company had over two decades of experience in operating airport parking. Meteor Parking Ltd purchased both companies, bringing together 50 years of meet and greet parking management into their meet and greet division.0 -
I have used Aardvark Parking through Go Simply because they gave them a good rating and the customers reviews were helpful. look them up at the go simply website.0

I've used Aaardvark/Meteor meet and greet at Stansted. Very efficient , very reasonable problem-free drop off and pick up. I'm using them again at Gatwick shortly...but then mine's not the sort of car that boy racers go for and it wouldn't pass muster as a wedding car!Just because somebody is certain doesn't mean they are right!0
