have you also applied for discount with your supplier? I am with Swalec and if you spend 10% or more of income on your electric, have certain benefits, SWALEC will give you 20% discount. [they pay the highest at the moment, scheme lasts approx 3 years] Ring and ask, I did, filled in a form, enclosed proof and have 20% of my gas and electric. No harm in trying.
just found my letter from SWALEC [Scottish and Southern Electric] the scheme is called engergyplus care tel 0800 300 111.0
