Can I remind people that before they go for an interview that they should be able to quote a couple of facts about the company. At least if they do ask "What do you know about our company?" you can answer.
Yes good point, But it is probably best not to go over the top. I did some research into one company I went for an interview and quoted
Their names of chief executive, directors, annual turnovers, where their other offices are, their main customers,previous name of business and what year the company was established and got turned down.
I think the interviewer took the view that he didn't want a smart Alec working for them.0
