I had an upgrade version of xp, bought legit from ebay years ago.
Have lost the disc but still have box and full key for it; before I start looking to buy another copy, any ideas at all ?
I was wondering if I borrow a copy, and need to use it, will my key / licence work with it ?

yes on the borrowing, that should work fine as long as you have a legit code, if it's an upgrade you may need to install whatever you upgraded it from first though0

Just get hold of a copy or download one off the internet. When you buy Windows, you actually pay for the licence to use it, not the media. Microsoft might also do a disc replacement service. Certainly the Vista Anytime upgrade DVDs they ship out are under a fiver delivered.Conor
