Reminder for payment of ticket after the payment has been done!

Hello,
I received a reminder from PARKINGENFORCEMENTAGENCY.ORG for my ticket not being paid. I have just checked my credit card and the payment was successfully made on the 12th December 2008. Now I have to appeal in writing to them. Can anyone help me as what i need to do as you cannot talk to them on the phone number provided.

  • Ignore it. It's a civil matter anyway so not enforceable in court and your CC bill will show payment.

You mean you actually paid a private parking company for one of their Mickey Mouse tickets? They've probably got you marked on their system as "gullible mug", and think that if they send you a reminder, you might pay again.

Contact your credit card company and see if they can recall the payment, as these tickets are a scam and almost always unenforcible in law. Otherwise don't waste time and premium-rate phone calls trying to contact a bunch of shysters.

I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. • Thanks mate, i live in town and the company parkingenforcementagency.org are responsible to enforce parking to avoid commuters using up residential spots. I had parked unkowningly at a particular location and it was my mistake here. So had to pay. The bank has confirmed that payment has gone through successfully to the https://www.keyivr.co.uk I am thinking of writing a letter to them with the details of payment (omitting any personal details).

You didn't have to pay these cowboys and if you want to try and reclaim your money, I think you should reconsider bargepole's advice above :)
