Credit card with Airmiles

Hi, I'm new to this so please don't be cross with me if this has been discussed before (although I've already checked out posts & threads but just want some up to date advice)!
My Mum (74) uses a credit card, sensibly, paying everything off each month. She has a sister in Seattle who she visits every two or three years and has decided to change her credit card to one that rewards with Airmiles so she can get her flight cheaper. I've checked out loads of comparison sites and it seems that MBNA Platinum Reward card is the better one to go for. Do people agree or is there another one that she should be looking at? Thanks!
