key meters
hi all ... need some help here ..i live in scotland and have had my electric supplied by "SCOTTISH HYDRO ELECTRIC " always ..Ive always had prepayment meters too ..my council home was rewired about 5 years ago and the S.H.E company installed a " TOTAL HEAT TOTAL CONTROL " meter which i have just recently found out that no other supplier will support this meter S.H.E have agreed after me threatening legal advice to remove this and install an "ECONOMY 7 " meter leaving me then to find a new supplier ..
Like everyone else im finding feeding those meters a heavy strain on my purse the last half of last year my total weekly usage was £40.00 to £50.00 per week "im all electric " over the last 2/3 weeks ive been putting in £70.00 per week and have had to make cut backs in the house with what we use ..
Does anyone have info on the meter im using now and also the economy 7 and how they differ in prices ..i did phone E-ON which came up the cheapest for me but because of this total control meter they could not give me an estimate for there meter ....
sorry for the long story but had to explain it all too you ..can anyone help with info or relate to this "i dont want to jump from frying pan into the fire ".
