Hi in Despair. I am thinking about you too and I'm sure you'll get good advice from the CCS.
I was a bit worried about some of your posts - they reminded me of how I felt this time last year - struggling to cope with husband's recent gambling admission, his moods and sorting out financial problems as well as just returning to work with 1 year old son oh and moving to new house that needs everything done to it. I was trying to support the whole family and it was just too much. It took me a long time to realise it but eventually I went to Doctors and got some anti depressants. They have helped me get my self together and have made a huge difference. If you are feeling low - please think about visiting a Doctor for a chat some time. Dont be a martyr I feel like I could cope with anything now.

Here is a slightly unusual thought
Have you thought about removing the home phone?
Not for the money saving but no home phone means no phone calls to ill husband
We nenevr had a phone in the house until I was 21 so they are not a necessity especially if you use PAYG for genuine calls0 -

Hi there hun. Sorry you're so down. Can Child Tax credits fund some of your childcare costs? It looks to me like you could be entitled to more from them. Also, Did you happen to get critical illness cover for your husband? Perhaps you could claim from that?
If you are under so much pressure you ned to take time off work (providing you get sick pay of course!) This will free up some time to relax a little and look after yourself before you can take care of hubby & child. I had depression a year ago due to work and home commitments and spiralling debt. My doc said it was very common for 'carers' to get depression. Don't wait - visit doc!
Love and hugs
