Digital Photo Frame

Hi,

Can anyone advise on the file formats supported by digital photo frames.
I am particularly interested to know if any support HTML.

thanks

I've never come across one supporting HTML - support generally seems to be restricted to image, audio and video files...
  • Screen grap - snipping tool in vista/accessories. Save to picture formats, should do it. Unless you want updating, via on-line, viewer style
  • I just want to create an offline html page to display a picture from. I could perhaps use an animated GIF - are these supported?

I'm not sure how common animated GIF support is...

Why don't you just transfer the picture to the photo frame? Are you trying to create some kind of customised menu or text description of the images?

If you want to use an animated GIF and they aren't supported, you could probably convert the GIF into a video file (MPEG/AVI).

This sounds like some clever hacking of a photo frame. Is it a secret project or can you tell us what your upto?
  • Top secret - I could tell you but I would have to erase your existance afterwards. Is it worth the risk?

I'll let you keep your secret then. If it ever becomes public knowledge please tell me first though.;)
