Stupid link paste anoying wrongness

That was a good title wasnt it!

Anyway

For instance, someone requests a list of cheap hotels in say Newyork, and I go on expedia type in the dates and get a list up then post the link. Except the link, when clicked, just goes to expedia's home page.

Is there something I'm missing or is there a way to make the link actually work.

Yes I get Title Fatigue as well and can't think of the suitable words!

Some websites use "session variables" so they customise the site for your browsing for that erm session sometimes using cookies, PCWorld used to be a pain for this.

Unfortunately you can't do anything about it apart from tell the other person what to do!

One thing you can do is save the webpage as an archive file, which takes the page and all of the pictures and bundles it into a single file. Then you can send that off instead of a link to the page. Just go File>Save as and change the type to Web Archive. That should solve the session cookie issue.
