and loads more forums have posted this, its been on for a few days now. I highly doubt anyone will get it as many people have been extremely selfish and ordered 50+ of these (they lack a brain) The cards been removed from Dells website too...

It's annoying! People get selfish and buy loads, without those people there would be more chance of at least a few people getting these, it always happens, as soon as there's a miss price people look at the resale value and stupidly buy lots of them. I bought one because I would actually use it and it would be more than a steal for a card like this. It just annoys me that some people can be so brain dead and are taken over by £ signs. ~sigh~

thing is, with so many people ordering so many, i guess dell can always drag their feet over giving refunds and make it difficult for people.

it's highly, highly unlikely that any orders will be honoured at that price, although i'm quite sure at least one person will threaten to take them to court over it

Like Dell was going to ever supply a couple of hundred pound of graphics card for a few quid. :rolleyes:

If someone does try to take them to court, they won't have a leg to stand on; the price is obviously wrong, rather than being slightly mis-advertised (it also wasn't published on leaflets, nor listed on main pages AFAIK); secondly threads like these and on other forums will blow any potential legal case to pieces (not that anyone would have one), as it's clear most people wanted to buy one knowing it was hundreds of pounds under price, often just to flog on eBay. I'd look forward to seeing the plaintiff argue that one.

There was a similar case a few years ago when Argos (or another chain) advertised a large TV for £4.99 rather then £499
