    awwwwwwwww......ta :o

Seems so silly now to look back when I was clearing £1700 a month and struggled to pay the bills (and I was clearing my debt at that time also). Just shows how silly I was really to not appreciate the postition but I guess in a way, when I get back there (and I WILL get back there), I've learnt a lot and I'll be able to start to re-build my savings. I still have some of my money from when I left and the stuff that went on afterwards ;) but it's dwindled alarmingly over the last year.

I was doing very similarly before I found MSE. I'm just lucky I got a wake up call BEFORE I was in a completely impossible position and am now well on the way to even keel. It's a bit sickening to think how much easier life would be now if I hadn't been so stupid then...

As for savings - I got a hefty chunk when the home I had with exOH was sold and blew through it all sustaining the lifestyle I wanted rather than could afford, otherwise wouldn't have needed a LBM. At least your savings are being used in a positive way to help you get to the fulfilling life you so deserve rather than frittering it on 'stuff'. And at the end of the day you can't take money with you so you might as well make it work to make you truly happy...

  • My Mom went over 19 days with my sister-she was monitered daily and her DR insisted that it was best to just leave things until the baby wanted to come-well, when my sister DID come, she came in literally minutes!

And she's perfectly fine and normal.
Obviously they wouldnt let you go over like that nowadays.

run/swim wasn't great... erin went into her swimming class at 1030, so i was going to have quick 25-30 mins round Stoney harbour but the wind was lashing and it was raining, so i was fighting a losing battle, run aborted after 10mins, so i carried on and walked the rest of the 30 mins which was challenging enough.... stopped off at beach cafe to get erin a hot chocolate for after swimming, and resisted urge to have one myself.

Couldn't/didn't run on sunday morning as weather was the same... and there is nowhere that isn't exposed to wind n rain where i live....

Me n erin went swimming for fun on sunday afternoon, so did a few lengths then....

    Runclub tonight...:D

We'd have to - no family close enough to cover and I hope to breastfeed ...

I guess it would be a baptism of fire... If we can cope with baby in a hotel just weeks after it joins us we should be able to cope with pretty much anything...

I think if Bean arrives after 11 Feb we'd be less likely to go than if he arrives beforehand...

I've been told that because I am low risk and going to be midwife led the most they'll let me go over is 14 days although what they'd do if I wanted to wait longer I don't know - tie me to a bed and force inducement (induction?) on me?
