    Hi peepies
    :hello::hello:
    Hiya!
    KC - it was a lovely afternoon and you is a lovely lady :kisses3:. More excursions soon i think.....;)

    It was lovely, Wol, *such* a good start to the week!
    Shame they snatched the Merc back yesterday morning :mad:....I thought the purpose of replacement cars was to prevent one being inconvenienced.......I had to drop everything yesterday morning to get over there to deliver back the hire car and pick mine up (they had no drivers to bring my car over and I took me 2 hours round trip) otherwise either I wouldn't have been able to meet KC that afternoon or I would have been charged for the hire car...good job I do not work full time in an office......
    "Customer service" ... hmm... I think people have forgotten what it means.
    ....so loving the rant Numpty...:rotfl:....might do one of those myself sometime soon....pick a topic....bodget builders, pratty planning departments, idiot insurance companies, silly structural engineers..........hmmm stuck for an alliteration for the Environment Agency..... can you oblige please Z? :D

    And didn't this start off a wonderful little topic on your thread :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:It comes to something when I'm laughing out loud at posts about vocabulary .... but those are very good, Z!
    Conscious I am very behind on the updating......still need to do piggies of the wheek and also the before and after garden pictures (as well as the one of the men with big choppers for all the laydees ;):D)...one of whom popped in today to measure up....(the fence!!)... and will be grinding my stumps on thursday ..;)....

    One more post tonight I think...
    xxx

    I love the "wheek" thing, it sounds *so* like a piggy. And ... you know, there were a few more posts than one after this! But a lovely time was had by all :)

    Sorry I couldn;t get any close-ups girls (especially when they had their shirts off)......seems I was too busy oggling to remember to take pictures ....and getting worried that the chain saw dangling by the rope (switched on :eek:) would inadvertantly cut something important off...have to say they were amazing to watch and they were completely roped/tied into the tree at all times....

    Ash.jpg The Big ASH - it all came down...branch by branch - the wooden handail front of picture is the disintegrating bridge

    Eucalyptus.jpg Shaping the Eucalyptus - after they'd lopped 12 feet off the top

    :beer: Wow! I've only ever seen stuff like that on TV, it must have been amazing in the flesh! Lots of flesh, of course :D:D:D

    I had an elder that was growing through a bulky conifer midway up my garden - it fell across the path, so I had to cut it way back, so I can finally start back on creating my shady seating area midway up the back garden. I was doing the branches first, and have finally cut the central trunk today, without it whiplashing and decapitating me or something. :cool:

    Before and after would be good! Process is awfully interesting too!:T
