:kisses3: We shall, Numpty! 'Twas a *lovely* afternoon out, with being a weekday it felt like skiving and holiday both at once :rotfl:and Our Wol is very knowledgeable on her plants, it was amazing
I can name all the plants too. Donald...Mary...Trevor...I've been lolling about ever since:D and am just now condescending to stand upright. Well, you see, otherwise I can't hold a cup of coffee properly, it leaks everywhere. So I have to get up.:D:D
Hold it by the rim and let its weight pull it so it's perpendicular the ground. Doesn't work very well with enamel cups, coz you burn your fingertips..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Hi peepies
:hello::hello:
KC - it was a lovely afternoon and you is a lovely lady :kisses3:. More excursions soon i think.....;)
Shame they snatched the Merc back yesterday morning :mad:....I thought the purpose of replacement cars was to prevent one being inconvenienced.......I had to drop everything yesterday morning to get over there to deliver back the hire car and pick mine up (they had no drivers to bring my car over and I took me 2 hours round trip) otherwise either I wouldn't have been able to meet KC that afternoon or I would have been charged for the hire car...good job I do not work full time in an office......
....so loving the rant Numpty...:rotfl:....might do one of those myself sometime soon....pick a topic....bodget builders, pratty planning departments, idiot insurance companies, silly structural engineers..........hmmm stuck for an alliteration for the Environment Agency..... can you oblige please Z?
Conscious I am very behind on the updating......still need to do piggies of the wheek and also the before and after garden pictures (as well as the one of the men with big choppers for all the laydees:D)...one of whom popped in today to measure up....(the fence!!)... and will be grinding my stumps on thursday ..;)....
One more post tonight I think...

:dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:
I can;t believe it...my District Councillor had a training worshop today on interpreting the new Permitted Building rights (changes.....mainly relaxation..... of the rules and requirements for Planning permission)...so he used my case as an example
Also sent me a link to a new planning portal....and has said just to be sure I should book a planning enquiry meeting (waiting list currently 2 weeks)
So contrary to the email from the Planning Department, It looks like I don;t after all need planning permission for the new patio and garage....it's far enough away from the footpath and boundary, and sufficiently small.......and I'm also OK to renew the fence..(I'll book a meeting just to be sure)...so that's one less fight (plus expenditure on professional drawings and £75 fee)...and i can get the contractor in to do the work so the guineas may have their winter quarters this year after all...:D:D.... and now I can just concentrate my energies on the Ombudsman and getting Environment Agency consent for the bridge........
Wow, I am impressed with my DC.......next time I will go and vote

Grinding your stumps sounds painful Wol:eek:
Courtesy cars are always a pain, they only ever have enough fuel in to get you to the local garage and sometimes you cannot adjust the seat so you end up driving bandy legged:eek:
Managed to use FSB to insure my car so it is now covered for business use as well - the insurers have asked me for a copy of my driving licence when I asked them why today, they said we need to see that you can actually drive a car..its the first time in 26 years that I have been asked by an insurance company to show my licence. I have told them that the licence displays the old address and that I am in the process of getting one of those picture thingies. What a rigmarole that will be - you can't have a picture of you wearing glasses that cover your eyes, how the hell I am supposed to watch the birdie when the camera flashes? Plus I need to send them proof of my identity in the form of my passport (there is no way that I shall be sending that through the post). Look I was born here, I live here, I passed my test here, I got my licence here but I still need to prove who I am:mad: I am going to be crafty and keep a photocopy of my licence because I just know they will make a hash of things like they have done with other people who passed their tests years ago because the DVLA don't keep records beyond 10 years and they never send the proof back that you have passed your test - I passed my test 26 years ago this year (4 July in fact).
Sorry for having a whinge Wol - I am looking forward to seeing the lumberjacks and piggie of the wheek:D0 -
