Congestive Heart failure and Swollen Feet

Hi
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this - but I'm sure somebody will move it if it needs moving
Just a question regarding footwear; I have Congestive Heart Failure. During the last year, my feet have now swollen to such a size that I just can't get shoes on. I've been managing with sandals with velcro fastening - but they're just not practical at all. Ok, there are suppliers out there who cater for this type of disability but I'm only working part-time and can't afford £70 for a pair of shoes!
I just wondered if anybody else had this problem and maybe had any suggestions as to where to look or where to get help?
Thanks
Tufty

I would think you should be entitled to have some footware made especially if you have a diagnosed condition.
I think you have to go to your gp and ask to be referred to orthotics. They make footware for people with diabetes and oedema etc. Its worth a try anywayThanx
