Where in Wales?

For guaranteed Welsh spoken everywhere you go, take a trip to Caernarfon and Snowdonia, there are also some lovely beaches on the Llyn Peninsula and down towards Harlech (and looooads of castles!). Also travel a little further South and you'll reach Portmeirion (about half an hour from Caernarfon)

Iechyd Da, and have a great time!
Agree with this. You can't get more welsh than this.
Not far from Anglesey, Llyn, Pwllheli, Bedd Gelert - plenty of days out there for you!0 -
Have to agree with all the Swansea suggestions OP, we live about 30 miles away and often go there for days and evenings out, for me it has a bit of everything. Further West is also lovely, we try to get down to Camarthanshire about two or three times a year, loads of Welsh speakers in that area.
Can't believe no-ones mentioned Merthyr Tydfil

The famous or infamous (depends on who your asking :P) welsh twang seems to originate from the south, most notably the valleys area.0
