I bought the above router on Saturday, got it up and running - all of a sudden today it won't work. The lights are on but no-body is home!
I have typed in the IP address in the address bar but it can't find it - I have rebooted it, reset it, rebooted the PC but still no joy. What's happened?? Help.

Open a command prompt window (Start - Accessories - Command Prompt), type in:

HI,
See if you can access 192.168.0.1, tell us what happens.
Also just for security sake could you remove the 80.xx.xx.xx numbers from the above post.0 -

Agreed, re the 80.xx... ip addresses, best keep those hidden.
With regards to accessing 192.168.0.1, that's the ip of his ethernet adapter, so he'd be accessing himself.
You've disabled DHCP. The easiest thing to do is enable it, Start > Control Panel > Network Connections > Local Area Connection (right click, then Properties) > TCP/IP (double click) then set everything to obtain automatically. If you're properly connected to the router it should assign you an address."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -
Have removed the 80 IP addresses - will try the settings when I get home. I never tinkered with the DHCP settings when this happened, so unclear why things would have changed. I think it was set to off as the ethernet port was reporting little or no activity, used port settings recommended by M'soft.
Will update with progress.0 -
.1 is usually reserved for the router (or gateway), you might need to specify a different static IP address, depending if the wireless gateway has DHCP enabled.
Post back if the enabling DHCP has worked.

Thanks guys, enabling the DHCP worked, back working.
Couldn't have done it without you.0
