Me and the wife took 1 yr bonds at 7% a few weeks ago with Close Bros. Well 5% at this time is the best u will get and I doubt that the interest rates will rise to more than that before the 2 yrs is up. So if u dont need access grab it quick. I think you have to have the forms and cheque with them by 13th Jan.Is it worth it or will rates exceed this offer within the two year term?0

I sent downloaded and completed forms and a cheque to them on Saturday a.m. by Special Delivery after speaking to them.
This deal MAY not remain open until this Tuesday 13th I was told as there's a chance it will be over-subscribed. I'm going to ring them tomorrow to find out if it's closing early and if I've been successful.Wins since 2009 = £17,600MANY THANKS TO ALL OPS0 -
Did anyone else post their application form off with a cheque on Friday 9th?
Do you think the forms have arrived?
Do you think we will be successful?

I sent my cheque to them by first class post on Monday 5th and the cheque has cleared my account on Monday 12th. I called on Friday and they were able to confirm receipt.0
