quick question, how long is it taking for people to get their cheques cashed with Icesave ISA money, after sending it to tax centre in Manchester?

Also, has anyone not received their ISA certificate?, girlfriend still waiting for hers...

Sorry, not sure what you mean by 'after sending it to tax centre in Manchester' ???
Do you mean you've sent your compensation cheque to the ISA transfer handling centre of a bank or building society? Which one?

As for certificates, I'm not sure if in the ongoing Icesave/FSCS saga they're so much of an issue as they were; the main worry now is for those who for various reasons needed paper application forms and either haven't received them at all yet, or still haven't been paid after returning them. There may well be some in the same position as your girlfriend however, without certificates, for whom it will still very much be an issue -- maybe no one in her situation has seen your post yet.

I was in a fairly late batch to be invited to claim ISA money online (during the first week in December), and received the certificate about 2 weeks later. Most people in the threads I've seen seem to report about the same waiting time of a fortnight after payment.
