I am finding it increasingly difficult to find any sites that offer cruise travel insurance with pre exisiting medical conditions - any ideas???

Do you need different insurance for cruises then?

We have travel insurance with the Co-Op and I can't see anything about it not being suitable for cruise holidays.

I believe I saw somewhere that you HAVE to have pre-existing conditions covered (in one of the cruise companies terms and conditions).

I presume this is because they don't want to be stuck with you uninsured on their ship.

So the insurance is no difference but the fact that you must be covered is a potential difference.

The Co-Op told me that any condition not treated by a specialist in the last 2 years will be covered. Any ailment treated by your Gp only is covered. Well that is how I understood it. For instance my husband had bypass surgery 7 years ago, never had any problems since so this is covered.

Try Mediquote - I have used them for two years.

Try marks and spencer. I went to vegas in november last year and they covered me for mouth cancer, which was treated less then a year previous.
