    i didn't realise we get saturdays off!:p

we had such a scare last night - my ds reads himself to sleep each night but last night he came down pillow in hnd and a horrible smell of burning, his lamp (don't ask me how - he still hasn't explained properly) was resting on his pillow and started to burn it!

i'm so pleased he hadn't already fallen asleep - i get weepy just thinking what could have happened - he now has very strict instructions that the lamp stays on the shelf

back to flying - wm is on, dw is on, s&s about to be done now

and does anyone know how to get nail polish off duvet covers dd spilt some on hers last night i've had ago at it with remover and bunged it in the washer but it hasn't come off

    Morning all....

    a little tired this morning..

anyway...How can so much mess appear in just 24 hours....

this time yesterday it was done all of it..maybe the breakfast stuff needed washing up but now its like we never bother and I can't stand it...

Mind you it is nice to know that each room will only take about 5-10 min apart from the kitchen....

    but so far this morning...

    WM x2
    TD x2
    DW x1
    our bedroom hoovered and dusted
    upstairs bathroom cleaned
    girls room done
    landing done
    stairs done..
    kids fed

just kitchen living room and hallway to do now...

apart from son's room.....who,s carpet is nowhere to be seen....But thats cause its halfway through been re-jigged..so not messy as such just being re-organised

I refer to my previous post about the song running around my head. Father and son. Son's marry ladies and girl groups can feature with that partnership. But it's the Father I keep thinking about... And if you look back at my posts I talked about a footballing personality - not a footballer!

Aha!!! So I was right!! Valli was confusing me cos I thought it was the father that lived down there and that's why I thought it was funny (some sort of strange comeuppance if you live in this part of the worlld!!!) He was a footballer once upon a time though...........

ETA - I see Rach knew that I'd know!!!

Going to finish reading the thread now and then defrag PC whilst I go and shower (postman has been so I can do that now!)

AnW'sMum thanks, the sweatshirt arrived this morning, it's a tiny bit smaller than his school one but that is huge so should fit ok. Please do let me know how much I owe you, I know what the postage was but you've been naughty and picked the price off!

Nada, zilch, nothing, nowt (which was why I picked the price off :p) Just glad it fits and has arrived :)

I've put the dishwasher on - had a giggle as I've not bought dishwasher tablets since last summer when I kept buying them on BOGOF. I reckon ive still got another years worth too!

That's nothing DH and I bought the last lot of DW tabs together when they were on BOGOF at Makro I think it was. So that must be at least 3 years since and I reckon I have enough for the rest of this yr!!:eek::eek::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Morning all,

Haven't been online for a couple of days, so have just caught up with all of the goings on. Although I miss the chat too, it made it a lot quicker for me to catch up, cos even in 2 days of posts, it's taken me an hour to catch up.

I woke up early cos OH had to work today, and read the betterware catologue in bed until 8.30am. There are lots of good things in there, but some of them are very expensive for what they are. The teflon mat things that AnW'sMum has just bought for £2, are nearly £5 in there!

I used a brand new microfibre cloth as a duster on Thursday as our yellow duster has gone missing in the move, and I used it to dust the landing banister so that I could hang washing over it. However, it's left a nasty brown stain all over the cloth, and OH said it's because it's made of teak, and it isn't varnished. I was then worried about hanging my washing over it in case it stained, so came up with the brilliant idea of putting binbags over it, and it worked excellently - just doesn't look that great. Still, I haven't taped them down so they can be easily removed.

Feeling cold now as the heating went off a while ago, and I'm still in my pjs, so I'm off to find a hot drink and get dressed.

Does anyone fancy a HHC 10-10.30? I need to do a lot on my list.

    sexymouse xx

PS Any news on baby deliveries?
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
