MP3 Files on External Hard Drive

I have backed up my mp3 music files on to an external hard drive (bus powered through the USB port) and I was wondering if there is any way that I could play them through my TV. My TV doesn't have a USB port and I don't have access to a laptop.

Yes, you'll need one of those media adapter thingies. THey're about £70 and allow you to connect any USB2 device to your TV. Western Digital do one.

You could probably play them by connecting your external hard drive to the usb port of a dvd player like this.

I believe if you have an xbox 360 you can connect an external hard drive up and play them through that, i could be wrong but i done the same playing videos0
