SE C902 question

Does anyone have one of these phones? I've phoned orange re an upgrade and the guy I spoke to didn't recommend this. He said it keeps freezes and is a known issue. The C905 is too expensive (902 being free).

I have gone for the W595. I have a week to return in case I change my mind.

Wondered isf anyone else had a 902 and what problems if any.

Both hubby and I both have a C902 and don't have any problems. I was also reluctant about getting one but took the chance. What I did do though after I bought it was downloaded that latest updates. It's a fantastic little phone and has got some really great features.

as long as you use the phone upgrader software before you use it and make sure you have the latest software on the phone I'm sure they fixed the problems

Great - you've had it a while without major problems then. I'll give Orange a call and look to change it to 902.

    Thanks.
  • I've had the phone for about 4 mths and occassionally it feezes however I haven't ever upgraded software so will look to do that. If I do so, is it from the SE website, and will it wipe stuff currently on the phone i.e. pics, music etc
If only I could stop finding good bargains on this site, I would save a fortune! :rotfl:

any operator branded firmware will be worse than the generic SE firmware.

orange & vodafone are the worst offenders imo (as they sometimes remove features from the phone completly), with o2 being the best (by having just themes, wallpapers and sounds)

for those of you that wish to upgrade the firmware on the phone: SEUS

SEUS shouldnt delete any files from the phone, as it doesnt touch the filesystem (apart from when it needs to upgrade drivers). Do back up the files on the phone just incase anything happens
