Four chocolates, a rose and a glass vase for a tenner? Hmmmm


I've got three boxes of chocs from Christmas squirreled away upstairs because I can't face any more at the moment. Glass vases I can get any day at the tip for about 20p. I'm afraid that I don't really think roses should be sold in Feb, either, as they look better in the summer, on the plant.



I've always thought Valentine's day is a rip off, and while I say good luck to those who indulge, and I'd receive it politely, nay effusively, if it was given, it would all be an act. I don't think this will be something I'll be getting. As for himself, he'd be delighted with something a bit more personal which, from distant memory, doesn't cost a penny

well i got my missus a pamper day for 20 quid and one for a tenner ifor her and her best bud ,nstead of the rose,ill buy her a bunch of flowers, not roses and cook her a lovely tea. and if she aint happy with that she can whistle.
