Tesco have a 'bull-alike' on offer http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/315264/1-litre-bottle-of-kick-only-46p-tes/ (don't drink the stuff myself, so no tasting notes...).
  • If you have any local instores or poundstretcher near you..there 69p each at the minute - the Red Bull are..

Seriously, as an ex student, you are far better off eating properly and sleeping properly. Staying up late studying and guzzling caffine to stay awake may feel like you're doing a lot of studying, but the value of what you're learning/revising will be crap.

Get organised, eat a proper diet get rid of the crappy junk food, and get at least 8 hours sleep. Well fed, well rested brains perform much better than hyperactive sugar & caffine loaded ones.
  • Not that I condone what you plan to do, Red Bull etc really isn't good for you...however, Sainsbury/Tesco/Asda all do their own version for approx 40p a can. also my local Poundland had 4 cans for a £1 of a Red Bull-alike drink just before Christmas.

And seriously, 5 crates???? That's a ridiculous amount and possibly dangerous amount to contemplate drinking!

It's unhealthy to have more than two to three cups of coffee a day, which equates to one to one-and-a-half cans of Red Bull. Plus there are plenty of scientific studies proving that you retain knowledge best when you sleep well (memories are formed at night), eat properly (low GI carbs plus protein plus fruit and veg) and exercise regularly (it's thought to be to do with blood flow).

Seriously, I don't recommend that plan! A guy I went to college with a couple of years ago was a ProPlus/coffee addict - he took quite a lot of proplus every day and also drank coffee, red bull, coke etc... All well and good till he collapsed on the Metro (train). Taken to hospital with a caffeine overdose believe it or not, and she shakes etc weren't much fun for him!

All in all, i agree with sandiep - eat well, drink water and get sleep. Don't try and burn yourself out...
    On the up :D

  • your also at risk of a drop in your blood glucose levels - this is not pretty at the best of times and it could happen during your exams. also, when you stop drinking it, that can mess you up as my OH found out. i know of people who have had seizures cos of drinking enery drinks to excess and i really dont reccomend you do it.

You really shouldn't bother with redbull. I'm doing my exams soon and finishing my assignments at the moment (for hand in tommorrow!).

I've been doing nothing but writing and researching for the last two days and got through about 6 cups of tea yesterday and about 4 today.

Caffine especially large doses won't make your brain think any better, you'll just be buzzing and not getting anything done.

PS. Amphetamines will definetly not help you with any chance of revision
