PSP and the internet Help Please?

My oh has received a PSP for his birthday and would like to get on the internet with it as it has wifi..can anyone help how to do this we have tried but no success?

Have you got a wireless router? First you need to find the encryption key of the router you can find this on the router config.
Make sure the wifi on the psp is on (the little switch on the left hand side).

Then on the psp go to settings>network settings>infrastructure mode>New Connection>Scan>Select you router (where it says security that's the encryption you have)>press X(enter) and go thought the settings when you get to the wpa or wep key section thats where you need the key which you will find on your router config.

can you tell me how i find out the router config please?it is a netgear and yes its is wireless

(either one should work)

default username: admin
default password: password

then click on wireless settings and the key should be at the bottom of the page (it may be printed on the bottom of the router itself)

thank you, and found it on bottom of router and succeded at last to connect to internet on psp .. thank you for all the help
