All the mp3 players for swimming seem to be bulky, have wires or are uncomfortable to wear. I can highly recommend the u-can from u-banana.com. You may have to wait a bit like me, but its well worth it. I now use the u-banana, u-can for running and in the gym too ...twinklyspecialkag wrote: »Hello,
Im thinking of taking up swimming. The problem is that i get bored quickly & want to get a mp3 player so i can listen to some tunes while i swim. Does anyone have any recommendations??? I dont tend to go deep under the water (more of a floater:-) ) and dont want to spend too much.
Thanks for any advice!!!0 -
the u-banana is the best product on the market for swimming although I also use it for running and at the gym. No wires, easy to wear and its been with me continuously since I got it a few months ago. I know that I got one of the first produced, so you may have to wait a couple of weeks, but it will be worth it.... enjoy0

I'm not connected to (or advertising a website:rolleyes: ) the products featured in the link below. Channel FIVE's 'Gadget Show' recently assessed music players and put them through their paces whilst swimming:

After the adverts, when the Gadget Show starts to play...........fast forward to 01:40 on the clock to reach the swimming test. The units featured were:
Speedo Aquabeat (1GB)............which has easy to use controls and sounded great.
Finis SwiMP3..........the controls aren't easy to use and the sound was tinny and very patchy quality.;)
