Sorry to hear that Tony, hope you manage to pick another date that's just as good for you.

Mine's booked for 21st Feb, so I hope they don't cancel me too :(

We really enjoyed our break, although it was somewhat confusing! The confirmation email said executive building, so after queuing there I was told we were staying in the mansion house (the white building) We went to what we thought was the entrance, but it turned out they had a revamp a while back so reception was all the way round the building. Drive round to the BMW building and you'll see it, all glass fronted extension.

We finally got to reception and she couldn't find my booking (it turns out my details were entered the wrong way round, with 'Ms' as my surname  We finally got our key and went to the room.

By this point I was a bit anxious, as things had not gone smoothly! The room was fab though :D Lovely decor, dove grey and raspberry colours, lovely pictures, huge bed, with a flat screen tv opposite. Nice deep bath, with a big shower fitting and all very clean.

We had spa treatments booked for 5pm, so off we went ready to be relaxed. My treatment had been booked, but apparently Emma had not booked my OH's treatment (this is not unusual according to the staff). They were very apologetic and offered him a slot the next morning. We were shown the facilities, and there was a small but well equipped gym and a Jacuzzi and sauna that he could use while waiting for me.
If you have booked treatments for your partner, ring the spa directly to confirm them, don't take Emma's word for it.

Dinner was lovely. Tasty food, a good selection and the staff were really helpful and friendly. We had starter, main and dessert, and it came to £56 (not including any drinks).
The bar has a relaxing atmosphere, and a nice area with lots of sofas and chairs to chill out in.

Breakfast was a buffet with plenty to choose from, cooked breakfast, cereal, pastries and toast.

There are free tea and coffee facilities just opposite reception, and there are tea making facilities in the rooms, although we brought extra tea and coffee with us, and we did need the extra supply :)

Despite the initial confusion, I really enjoyed the break and would definately go again. I felt very relaxed afterwards, and it was lovely to have a night off from the kids ;):D

I hope you all have a great time on your breaks :)

Thanks Lynsey for your post - I booked my break (going with my mum) for March, but I still haven't had a confirmation email yet. Going to call the spa directly as I want to book a treatment for her. I was a bit surprised when I finally got through to Emma, as I'd looked at the spa brochure online and the treatments on offer weren't the same as the ones in the brochure. I was hoping to go for the chocolate therapy ;-) so I'll book that directly with the spa rather than leaving Emma another voicemail!

Does anyone have Emma's email? I'm having difficulty booking our treatments, all they can offer is the day we're supposed to be checking out, which is a problem as we need to drive quite a long way.
