Tesco double clubcard points on petrol question

Hi
On the Tesco website it says you get double clubcard points on petrol, my question was how does this affect you if you have a clubcard plus, do you get 4 points instead?, also this may sound silly but it said petrol instead of fuel, is diesel eligible?

The homepage says "Double Clubcard Points on Petrol and Diesel", not sure about Clubcard Plus, their helpline is 0800 59 16 88 - if you do call to ask, please update the thread to let us know 0

Just been to Tesco for petrol not been given double points. Phoned help line and was told that petrol is not in the promotion.0
