Paypal fraud

I have just discovered that my PayPal account has been hacked into and $80 has been transferred from one of my cards. I received an email from PayPal saying my account was restricted and to log on and go through the security procedure which I have done, changed passwords etc. I have been though the reporting that this transaction is unauthorised and at the end of the steps they have said that the transaction was never completed (even though History says it was) and has been reversed also PayPal will investigate. This has never happened before. Does this mean that the money taken out of my bank account will now be credited back? The reason I ask is because this is my bank account where my benefit money goes into and the transaction will put my account in the red. Not long back I received a 30 day notice of account closure due to going in the red 3 times, obviously I'm worried if this happens again I will have to look for another account. Added to that this is our food money. Has anyone else been though this? Any advice welcome.
Wow, I got 3 *, when did that happen :j:T:p

Call paypal and talk to them, this sort of thing is best dealt with by a conversation not by email.
AS for having accounts restricted then yes you need to be careful. Sellers who are perceived to have poor customer service either through poor feedback, poor stars or warnings on their seller dashboard are liable to be suspended. Once suspended you cannot then open a new account .
If you rely on ebay for your income then you need to take a serious look at your service if you are close to the suspension limit.
Just to say I am using UK regulations here, I note you mentioned dollars if you ar ein the US things might be different.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I think he's referring to his bank account being closed, not his ebay account.Terms & Conditions Apply0 -

Did you log on through the email link, or through your browser as normal.
If it was through the email, log back on through the browser and re set everything, unless you're completely sure the email was genuine.0 -
