Aerial Signal Boosters

Need to plug in two things to aerial socket (Freeview box and PC).
The signal is fine and all channels are received, but if the PC is also connected (from the RF Out of the Freeview box opposed to using a splitter), both the Freeview box and PC struggle to find all the channels.
Would a cheapish 2 way signal booster at the aerial wallplate sort this?
